Free Water Wise Gardening Talks: How to Garden During a Drought

Santa Cruz Ecology Action’s Nicole W. Douglas is leading a series of free presentations on ‘Water-Wise Gardening’, which will focus on creating and maintaining a healthy and beautiful garden in times of drought. Discussion topics will include plant selection; soils, compost and mulch; storm water management; and water-wise irrigation. There will be time for attendees to ask questions. The series is sponsored by the City of Santa Cruz Water Department and the Soquel Creek, Scotts Valley, San Lorenzo Valley Water Districts. The presentation will be repeated on the following dates and locations.
