Laundry-to-Landscape Hands-On Installation Workshop

May 14, 2016 @ 9:00 am - 4:00 pm


Join us for a hands-on workshop to learn how to install a laundry to landscape system that allows you to reuse waste water for landscape and garden irrigation. The class will be divided into two parts, classroom instruction (9 am- noon) and a field trip to a local home for a hands-on project installation demonstration (1 pm-4 pm).

This workshop will cover:

  • Code requirements
  • Greywater compatible products and plants
  • Greywater system parts and materials
  • System design
  • Calculating irrigation field size and plant water requirements
  • Mulch basin construction
  • How to maintain your greywater system

Please bring a lunch, sunscreen & a water bottle! Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in to the class.

Register by February 29 for early bird pricing ($30). After February 29th the course costs $35
